Top 5 Film & Television Apps on iOS in Poland Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top five film and television apps on iOS in Poland. According to Sensor Tower data, the apps cda.pl, Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies demonstrated varied trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

cda.pl experienced fluctuations in downloads, peaking at 24.3K in the last week of June and seeing a low of 11.2K in early September. Revenue for the app showed a general upward trend, starting from around $8.9K at the end of June and peaking at $12.4K in the first week of August. Weekly active users ranged from 149.6K in early September to a high of 173.3K in late July.

Disney+ showed a notable spike in downloads, reaching 31.5K in mid-September, while revenue fluctuated, peaking at approximately $85.9K in mid-August. The app's weekly active users saw a rise to 292.7K in mid-September from 243.8K at the start of the quarter.

Netflix maintained relatively stable download numbers, with a slight peak of 15.2K at the end of July. Revenue showed a slight decline overall, from $14K in late June to $12K by the end of September. Weekly active users saw a decline from 483.3K at the start to 422.5K by the end of the quarter.

Amazon Prime Video saw a peak in downloads of 14.8K in early July, while revenue varied, peaking at around $12K in mid-July. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 14.2K to 16K throughout the quarter.

HBO Max: Stream TV & Movies experienced a consistent decline in weekly active users from 99.9K in late June to 73.9K by the end of September. Revenue showed a general decline as well, with a peak of approximately $40.9K in early August, dropping to $33.4K by late September. Downloads remained relatively low, fluctuating between 6K and 8.8K throughout the quarter.
